Division Manager - Temps & Technical at Network Scientific Recruitment

Are you looking to gain some further experience in a Scientific Environment? Do You have Lab experience from an academic or industrial setting? Are you immediately available?

A leading and successful provider of analytical testing are seeking a Lab Technician to join their Environmental Science Lab near Derby. Ideal for candidates looking to begin a career in a scientific environment.

Role Overview

• Receipt and analysis of samples using a range of analytical techniques
• Conduct all work in line with relevant Standard operation procedures and Guidelines including Good Lab Practice (GLP) and ISO17025
• Temporary, Full-time(39 hours pw) role starting on shifts of Tuesday to Saturday. Rotating shifts between hours of 6AM-9PM.
• Flexibility required to move onto a different shift rotation that may include evenings and weekends.
• Opportunities to go permanent and progress.

Requirements

• Analytical experience gained from working in an Academic or industrial Laboratory setting
• Degree level or equivalent qualification in a Chemistry related discipline is highly advantageous.
• Highly motivated with the desire to learn and progress.
• Must be available to begin immediately (27/05/25)
