The Opportunity

We’re offering an exciting career pathway within our busy Clinical Trials Sample Handling Laboratory. This is an ideal role for someone with strong organisational skills and an eye for detail, seeking hands-on experience in a regulated clinical trial setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Logging, processing, and managing biological samples collected from clinical trial participants
  • Performing urine testing and assisting with lab-based safety procedures
  • Organising sample shipments and maintaining storage systems
  • Supporting laboratory setup and study-specific preparation
  • Contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the lab
Who We’re Looking For
  • A good general education; a science degree is not essential
  • Experience in a laboratory environment is advantageous
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A team player with clear communication skills
  • Able to use initiative and work effectively in a busy environment
  • Flexibility to work across a varied shift pattern including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
What We Offer
  • Starting salary of £24,570 per annum
  • 29 days annual leave plus bank holidays, rising to 33 days after 5 years’ service
