Job summary

CVS Vets in Newton Abbot, part of the UK's leading veterinary network, is recruiting for a Microbiology Laboratory role. The position processes clinical samples for microbiological analysis in a busy, commercial veterinary laboratory.

32 hours per week, Monday to Friday with possible Saturday shifts, and full training provided; no previous experience required. You will need good communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, and fine motor dexterity.

Role Details:

Location: Axiom Veterinary Laboratories - Manor House, Brunel Road, Newton Abbot, Devon, United Kingdom, TQ12 4PB

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 32 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (with the potential requirement to work Saturdays)

Axiom Veterinary Laboratory is a busy diagnostic pathology facility servicing a large group of veterinary practices across the country.

The laboratory in Newton Abbot is responsible for processing veterinary samples for clinical diagnostic purposes.

The role will be based in the Microbiology department andwould suitsomebody looking for an opportunity to work in a busy, commercial veterinary laboratory. The role will involve the processing of clinical samples in preparation from microbiological analysis.
