A leading educational institution is seeking a highly organised Laboratory Technician with a keen interest in Science. The role involves supporting science education by preparing and maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring safety compliance, and assisting students and staff. Ideal candidates will have A Level qualifications in Science and good ICT skills, with a willingness to learn.
We are seeking to recruit a highly organised Laboratory Technician. The successful candidate will have a keen interest in Science. They will be reliable, able to use their own initiative and remain calm during busy periods. They should have a willingness to learn. They should have good ICT skills or the willingness to learn them. Ideally, they will have A Level or equivalent vocational qualifications in Science. Previous experience as a technician in a school science environment or similar role and knowledge of how science is studied in a school context would be preferred. Hours of work are 9am-1.30pm, Monday to Friday during term time only.
