A leading dairy processor is seeking a Lab Technician for its Artigarvan site. You'll handle product sampling and testing to ensure quality compliance in a fast-paced environment. Lakeland Dairies Co-operative Society Limited (The Group) is the second largest dairy processor on the island of Ireland. The business is complex and ambitious with a milk supply pool of 2 billion litres of milk, drawn from over 3,200 family farms across 16 counties.

The Group’s Agribusiness Division (Lakeland Agri) operates a state-of-the-art Animal Feed Manufacturing Facility and is a leading and innovative provider of the highest quality feeds and agricultural inputs to dairy, beef, and sheep farmers across the north and south of Ireland.
Applications are invited for the above position that will be based at our Artigarvan Site in County Tyrone.
The Role
Our Lab Technicians are responsible for the sampling, testing and recording of products at various stages of our production process, ensuring all products meet legal, company and customer quality standards.

The Person
Our team are seeking an individual that possesses a 3rd level qualification from within a relevant discipline and who has the ability to work on their own initiative while independently managing their own workload.
In addition, the successful applicant will have excellent attention to detail, sound IT skills including Microsoft Office packages and have the ability to write reports & present information.
Relevant experience from within a similar food manufacturing environment and/or testing of product would be advantageous.
