Job summary
Reading Scientific Services Ltd (RSSL) in Reading is seeking a Nutritional Laboratory Team Leader to oversee day-to-day operations of a high-volume nutrition testing lab and to drive automation and lean processes for rapid turnaround times. You will manage a team of roughly 5 FTEs, ensuring quality, safety and compliance in all activities.
The role requires strong leadership, laboratory expertise and English fluency, with collaboration across QA, commercial teams and site operations.
Qualifications
- Educated to Degree or PhD in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent relevant experience in a laboratory.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate & mentor a diverse group of scientific staff to achieve targets.
- English fluency (written and spoken).

- Lead day-to-day operations of the Nutritional Laboratory and manage a team.
- Drive automation and lean processes to speed turnaround times.
