Job summary

Airedale International is seeking a Laboratory Team Leader to guide a small team of Laboratory Engineers in the R&D Lab. The role involves testing new product lines, conducting customer witness tests, and ensuring high-quality data and reports.

The candidate will manage daily tasks, maintain equipment, and drive a culture of continuous improvement in safety and product development. Strong leadership and thermodynamics knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a laboratory environment, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Able to work under own initiative and manage time effectively.
• Able to communicate with internal personnel and external customers.
• Sound understanding of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Laboratory Engineers and delegate tasks daily.
• Support customer witness tests and ensure documentation is complete.
• Schedule tests and support development roadmaps and timing.
• Operate and maintain environmental chamber and related equipment.
• Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with procedures.
• Analyse data and produce high-quality technical reports.
• Train direct reports and ensure calibration of measurement equipment.
