Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Leeds seeks a Laboratory Team Leader within its Research & Development Laboratory. You will lead a small team of Laboratory Engineers, test new product lines to industry and in-house standards, and facilitate customer witness testing.

The role requires 3–5 years in a laboratory environment with leadership responsibilities, plus a strong grasp of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a laboratory environment with leadership responsibilities.

• Knowledge to identify and rectify problems in testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Laboratory Engineers and delegate tasks daily.
• Schedule tests to support development roadmap timescales.
• Perform customer witness tests and produce associated documentation.
• Maintain environmental chamber and related equipment and ensure safety.
• Analyse results and produce high-quality technical reports.
• Train direct reports and ensure measurement equipment is calibrated and fit for use.
