SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a proactive Laboratory Supervisor to lead our Materials Testing Laboratory within the Infrastructure division. You will ensure compliance with UKAS, SHE and quality standards, and you will manage lab teams to deliver accurate testing results for concrete, asphalt and related materials.

The role offers stepping into leadership, training, and developing staff, with flexible working and a focus on safety and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in a laboratory or materials testing environment.
• Knowledge of concrete, asphalt and construction materials testing.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

About Infrastructure

In this role, you’ll need the confidence to lead laboratory teams while ensuring compliance with UKAS, SHE and quality standards. Experience in materials testing laboratories is essential to thrive in this position.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
