SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a proactive Laboratory Administrator for our Materials testing lab. You will support day-to-day operations, ensuring accurate data handling and smooth scheduling, while upholding quality and safety standards.

Join a busy team where you’ll input data, manage client timelines, and assist with invoicing and finance tasks, contributing to efficient client service and lab performance across our environmental chemistry and materials testing capabilities.

Laboratory Administrator

Are you interested in Materials/Geotechnical testing? This could be your opportunity to excel as a Laboratory Administrator, playing a vital role in supporting SOCOTEC’s continued success.

As SOCOTEC grows, so do our teams. We’re looking for a dedicated Laboratory Administrator to join our Materials testing lab and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Lab administrator to join our Materials lab. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to work independently, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team. A background in the industry, along with knowledge of Materials lab testing, is none essential but ideal in this position.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

• Book in schedules and give turnaround times to clients
• Data input work sheets and check
• Finance aspects such as accruals and invoicing

Qualifications

• Microsoft skills, especially excel
• accurate typing
• Email writing and dealing with customers professionally
