Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor in our Infrastructure division, to lead materials testing on challenging projects and uphold UKAS, SHE and quality standards.

You’ll manage laboratory staff, maintain client relationships, and ensure calibration and compliance while supporting the continued success of SOCOTEC in delivering trusted testing, inspection and certification services across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in a laboratory or materials testing environment.
• Knowledge of concrete, asphalt and construction materials testing.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Laboratory Supervisor

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Laboratory Supervisor to join our Infrastructure team. In this role, you’ll need the confidence to lead laboratory teams while ensuring compliance with UKAS, SHE and quality standards. Experience in materials testing laboratories is essential to thrive in this position.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
