Avantor is looking for a highly-skilled and motivated Laboratory Services Manager to join our team in Cambridge, UK. In this role, you'll manage a team of Laboratory Managers and Technicians, ensuring the effective operation of multidisciplinary laboratories to enable cutting-edge science across various therapeutic areas.
This is a full-time permanent position based at a new facility at The Discovery Centre, Bio-Medical Campus, Cambridge. We offer a competitive salary, bonus, pension scheme, private medical and dental care, and an extra day off for your birthday.
Monday to Friday, core hours
You will be part of a team of four Laboratory Services Managers, each responsible for different service areas. You will manage Laboratory Managers, Service Lead, and Technicians in tissue culture labs, mentoring 24 staff members, with 14 reporting directly to the Service Lead. You will support our Lab and Production Services department, serving pharmaceutical companies and labs worldwide in R&D within the Life Sciences industry.
