Job summary

Alfred H Knight in Liverpool is seeking a Laboratory Quality Manager to lead the QMS at the AHK Laboratory. You will drive accreditation activities, manage day-to-day quality standards, and ensure compliance with ISO 17025, ISO 9001, and UKAS requirements while supporting client service delivery and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience developing and maintaining QMS for ISO 17025/ISO 9001.
• Experience with ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 accreditation.
• Understanding UKAS accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the QMS and day-to-day quality standards at the AHK Laboratory.
• Ensure processes align with ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001 and UKAS requirements.
• Collaborate with laboratory management to fulfil accreditation commitments and client service delivery.
• Administer group quality control and assurance initiatives and establish KPIs.
• Roll out and implement IQMS across the operation.
