You are dedicated to a career in laboratory management and operations. You can manage day-to-day lab operations, procurement & supplies, waste, maintenance of state-of-the-art equipment, and enforce health & safety protocols.

We are working with a small Oxford-based ‘dark genome’ biotech that is looking to hire a Laboratory Manager. Their research combines AI, cutting-edge genomics, and world-class drug discovery research to shine a light on and develop drugs for new targets within the ‘dark genome’. You, along with a Lab Assistant who will report to you, will work closely with the scientists undertaking this revolutionary research. Your work will be vital to their success.

You will work within brand-new laboratory facilities in a role that will grow with the biotech. Working within a small biotech presents exciting challenges: you need to be organized, proactive, and a calming presence in high-pressure situations.
