Job Title: Laboratory Manager

Location: Merseyside

Hours: Monday to Friday

Daily Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accuracy of laboratory results.
• Maintain laboratory equipment.
• Develop and update laboratory testing methods and SOPs.
• Oversee testing methodologies in the laboratory.
• Validate analytical procedures.
• Manage and order laboratory consumables to maintain minimum stock levels.
• Supervise the transfer of NPD physical parameter results from NPD to Technical.
• Ensure samples are tested and results are followed up according to testing programs.
• Manage external laboratory testing requests and oversee their proper execution.
• Handle out-of-specification results and corrective actions.
• Ensure staff competency and provide training.
• Create and manage templates.
• Maintain laboratory practices and standards.

Experience:

• Proven track record in Laboratory Management.
