Job summary

Apleona Hsg Facility Management is seeking a Laboratory Auxiliary in Moreton to support our lab team. You will maintain equipment and spaces, dispose of hazardous waste in line with regulations, and keep consumables and solvents well-stocked.

The role requires sharp attention to detail, reliability, and good communication. You’ll work across departments and contribute to a safe, efficient laboratory environment.

Laboratory Auxiliary

Location – Moreton, CH46 1QW

Hours – Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 15:00pm

We’re currently looking to recruit a Laboratory Auxiliary, who will maintain laboratory equipment and work areas, whilst supporting our lab technicians and managers with daily tasks. You will be responsible for the disposing of hazardous waste in accordance with regulations and maintaining laboratory consumables and solvents. You will also conduct lab glass wash and stock and be responsible for lab coat management.

In addition to having strong attention to detail, you must be responsible and demonstrate excellent communication skills. If you thrive in fast-paced working environments that require a professional with drive and exceptional analytical skills, then you could be our ideal candidate.

As an Apleona Laboratory Auxiliary, we’re looking for:

• The ability to work flexibly and independently within the Laboratory Auxiliary team across various departments
• Previous experience of working within a laboratory
• Great customer service skills
• Good communication skills – written and verbal
• Strong IT skills

• Salary - £26,103 / £13.40 per hour
