Job Description:

Are you looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience using Gas Chromatography (GC) in an analytical role?

A leading provider of analytical testing services is seeking an Analyst to join their team in Bolton. The company offers analytical services to the environmental sector and seeks an analyst with prior industrial experience with GC techniques to join the inorganic analysis team.

Role Overview

1. Analysis of environmental samples using techniques including Gas Chromatography with various detectors.
2. Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and standards such as UKAS ISO17025 and GLP.
3. This is a permanent full-time role, 39 hours per week, with shifts available from Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday.

Requirements

1. Essential: Experience working in an industrial or commercial laboratory using GC-MS, GC-FID, and GC-ECD.
2. Motivated, detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and an appreciation for quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
