Job Description:

The Forth Valley Royal Hospital is seeking a qualified HCPC registered Healthcare Scientist to join as a Quality & Training Manager. This role involves leading our laboratory's Quality Management System and Training Program across all disciplines, supporting Point of Care services, and preparing for UKAS inspections. The candidate should hold an MSc in Biomedical Science or equivalent, or IBMS Fellowship/Higher Specialist Diploma, with additional qualifications in Quality or Training encouraged. Active CPD participation is expected. The laboratory provides services across Microbiology, Pathology, Clinical Chemistry, Haematology/Transfusion, and Point of Care Services, with accreditation in all disciplines and knowledge of UKAS ISO 15189:2022 standards essential. The role requires working Monday-Friday with occasional out-of-hours duties. Laboratory visits are encouraged; contact Liz Kilgour at 01324 566686. The candidate must be a member of the PVG Scheme.
