Job summary

The Label Centre LTD in the West Midlands is seeking a self-motivated Estimator to join our team. You will respond to pricing requests, determine production methods, and prepare professional quotations using Label Traxx.

You will qualify enquiries, understand client requirements, and maintain accurate pricing information while building lasting supplier and customer relationships. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in label packaging or print manufacturing, strong numeracy, and the

Qualifications

• Experience estimating in label/packaging or wider print manufacturing.
• Knowledge of label materials, adhesives, inks, varnishes, die cutting and finishing.
• Strong numeracy with cost models in estimating software.
• Able to read artwork and specifications and spot cost impacts.
• Clear written and spoken communication with customers and colleagues.
• Organised and calm when handling several quotes against tight deadlines.
• Office 365 – Outlook, Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Respond to pricing enquiries accurately and timely.
• Decide on the best method for manufacture.
• Produce quotations and present them professionally using Label Traxx.
• Qualify all enquiries to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
• Understand and identify customer requirements.
• Update pricing information on requotes.
• Follow up on quotations as required.
• Build relationships with customers to be the 1st choice manufacturer.
• Provide customer service excellence in interactions.
• Offer bespoke solutions to niche products.
• Meet with suppliers to discuss pricing and potential new projects.
