Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) in Bolton is seeking a motivated Laboratory Technician Apprentice to join the team. Earn while you learn, training towards a Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship and gaining hands-on experience in a real lab.

You will support testing, sample preparation, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace with guidance and supervision. No prior lab experience required, commitment to learning is essential.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths, English and a science subject (or equivalent) at grade 4-9.
• Helpful to have GCSEs but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and develop practical laboratory skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day laboratory tasks under supervision
• Preparing samples and materials for testing
• Accurately recording results and maintaining records
• Following health and safety procedures in a laboratory environment
