Job description

We are currently seeking a proactive and dedicated Lab Technician for our Technical department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily finished product testing of insulation foam, manufacturing of Uniblend 8020, offloading bulk chemical raw materials, and other raw materials. The role involves continuous improvement, quality assurance, health, safety, and welfare, while promoting Unilin’s core values of passion, entrepreneurship, excellence, and respect.

Role Details:

Permanent position, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.

Key Tasks and Duties:

• Adhere to company standards and ethos
• Perform regular checks and testing
• Prepare and package samples as required
• Maintain all company records
• Coordinate with hauliers and raw material planners for deliveries
• Operate forklift as required by the technical team
• Handle goods inward duties for chemicals and other materials
• Conduct stocktaking of raw materials
• Provide written reports to the technical department
• Produce Uniblend 8020 on site and ensure it meets specifications
• Take chemical samples and conduct basic analyses
• Assist in trial work and safety, environmental, and quality inspections
• Perform other tasks as requested by management
