Job summary

IQVIA Holdings Inc. invites applications for an entry‑level laboratory support role at its Medicines Evaluation Unit (MEU) facility in the UK.

You will assist with receipt, QC and storage of clinical specimens, maintain glassware, and provide administrative and technical support to ensure smooth lab operations for clinical trials. The role requires a life sciences degree, 1 year of experience (graduates welcome), and solid English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or relevant field.
• 1 year experience; recent graduates welcome.
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment, quality control and validation procedures.
• Computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Written and verbal communication skills including good command of English.
• Clinical research experience preferred.

Job description

Responsible for assisting with a variety of routine activities associated with receipt, QC, and storage of clinical specimens. Maintains glassware for the laboratory, washes, rinses, dries, distributes and stores glassware such as test tubes, beakers, flasks and cylinder. Provides administrative and technical support to the lab. Logging and tracking samples accurately and processing biological samples from clinical trials participants along with managing sample storage and shipments. Performing pregnancy & drugs of abuse testing. Preparing laboratory supplies for study visits and supporting the general organisation of study set up and smooth running of the laboratory.

• Bachelor's Degree in life sciences or another relevant field.
• 1 year experience, recent graduates welcome.
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment, quality control and validation procedures.
• Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Written and verbal communication skills including good command of English language.
• Clinical research experience preferred.
