Campden BRI is seeking a motivated Sample Handling Assistant to join our analytical chemistry lab for food and drink testing. You’ll receive samples, log them into our LIMS, and support both lab and administrative tasks in a Monday–Friday, office-based environment.

No prior experience required, driving is helpful due to our rural location; you must have right to work in the UK. A supportive team offers pension and holidays as part of the benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with physical tasks or manual handling.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Practical, team-oriented mindset.
• Strong organisational skills to manage workload.
• Ability to adapt between tasks as time permits.

Responsabilités

• Receive and unpack samples, liaise with couriers.
• Log samples into LIMS and storage.
• Assist with lab-based or administrative duties as needed.
• Support the Sample Administrator to maintain workflow in the lab.
• Prepare food & drink samples for chemistry testing.
