Join Lila Sciences as a Lab Operations Associate in our Cambridge-based labs, helping keep equipment, supplies, and space running smoothly for scientists tackling breakthrough research. You will stock consumables, support installs and moves, respond to alarms, and manage deliveries through our ticketing system.

We value hands-on contributors with a proactive, service-minded attitude, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and comfort with CMMS tools such as Jira, Notion, or ChemInventory.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on lab operations experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage priorities via a ticket queue.
• Experience with CMMS, ChemInventory, Jira or Notion.
• Willingness to lift up to 40 lbs and work hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Order, stock lab consumables and PPE; manage procurement racks and flag stockouts.
• Manage gas tank inventory, dry ice, and chemical inventory; tag and track assets.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, and deliveries of equipment and samples.
• Support equipment installs and setup, including facility connections.
• Respond to equipment and cold-storage alarms; basic troubleshooting.
• Set up, reconfigure, and clean lab spaces for new teams and projects.
• Coordinate vendor visits and triage Lab Ops tickets and work orders.
• Support EH&S with lab logistics and safety service coordination.
