Job summary

Kiwa Electrical Compliance (KEC) is seeking an Electrical Safety Engineer to join our team in Blackwood, South Wales. You will carry out electrical safety testing on a wide range of products, manage testing projects from start to finish, and deliver high-quality test reports and certificates when necessary in a lab-based setting.

You'll work closely with customers, support continual improvement, and mentor colleagues within the Electrical Safety team, while ensuring ISO/IEC 17025 compliance and

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical safety testing in lab or regulated environment.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 desirable.
• Excellent planning, organisational and project management skills.
• Ability to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical safety testing per customer requirements and standards.
• Manage testing projects from purchase order to completion, including reporting and certificate delivery.
• Prioritise and manage multiple projects to ensure on-time delivery.
• Produce test records, reports and certificates.
• Conduct pre-test checks, intermediate checks, and inter-laboratory comparisons.
• Work with customers to understand requirements and provide excellent service.
• Support continuous improvement in the laboratory and testing processes.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to colleagues in the Electrical Safety team.
• Identify opportunities for additional testing services and support sales.
