Job summary

Kiwa Electrical Compliance (KEC) in Blackwood, South Wales, seeks an Electrical Safety Engineer to perform electrical safety testing across a wide range of products, manage testing projects from order to delivery, and produce high-quality reports and certificates. This is a lab-based role.

You'll lead testing activities, mentor colleagues, support improvements, and collaborate with the sales team to offer additional services while ensuring ISO/IEC 17025 compliance and health and safety

Qualifications

• Engineering professional with ability to perform electrical safety testing.
• Experience in testing, compliance, lab, or regulated environment.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical safety testing in accordance with customer requirements, procedures and standards.
• Manage testing projects from purchase order through to completion, including testing and certificates.
• Prioritise and manage multiple projects for on-time delivery.
• Produce technical documentation, test records and certificates.
• Conduct pre-test, interim, and inter-laboratory checks.
• Provide excellent service and understand customer requirements.
