UK Dementia Research Institute (UK DRI) is building Lab Brains: agents and connected tools that help laboratories understand their work, recover its history and follow through on what needs to happen next. You will work with researchers and lab managers to turn recurring problems into usable software and workflows.

This hands-on technical leadership role shapes product strategy, collaborates with an AI-focused engineer, and helps drive adoption across the institute while ensuring reproducibility

Qualifications

• Strong programming ability with shipping experience.
• Experience with tools like Git/GitHub and CI/CD.
• Practical experience building LLM applications or automation.

Responsibilities

• Build lab workflows connecting notes, conversations, projects and records.
• Develop agents and tools to recover history and preserve decisions.
• Create integrations handling permissions, changes and failures.
