Job summary

Greenwich Primary School in Greenwich is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our SEND team on a full-time basis, starting ASAP. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND and help them access the curriculum.

Ideal candidates will hold a Level 3 TA qualification and have prior experience supporting children with SEND in a primary setting. You will work closely with teachers, the SENCO and the broader school team to create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and have prior SEND experience in a primary setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills essential.
• Caring, patient and proactive approach required.

Level 3 Teaching Assistant – SEND Support

Greenwich Primary School Full-Time ASAP Start

We are currently looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Greenwich, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The successful candidate must have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and previous experience supporting children with SEND within a primary school setting.

The Role

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND
• Supporting children with their learning, communication and social development
• Helping pupils access the curriculum and develop independence
• Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
• Working closely with class teachers, the SENCO and wider school team
• Creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

Essential requirements:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification – essential
• Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a primary school – essential
• A caring, patient and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for supporting children with additional needs
