Job summary

Reperio Human Capital Ltd is seeking an IT Support Engineer (2nd/3rd line) with strong Azure and Hyper-V experience for a Belfast-based MSP. You will deliver failed incidents through to resolution across on-prem, Azure and hybrid environments.

You'll work remotely and on-site, manage Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP and Microsoft 365, and contribute to backups, DR and migration projects while adhering to SLAs and ITSM processes.

Qualifications

• Proven 2nd line experience, ideally within an MSP.
• Hands-on Hyper-V experience.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Azure.
• Strong Windows Server and Active Directory knowledge.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
• Effective communication with customers and workload prioritisation.
• Nice-to-have: AZ-104 certification.
• Experience with ConnectWise or PSA/RMM tools.
• Networking knowledge: firewalls, VPNs, general networking.

Responsibilities

IT Support Engineer (2nd / 3rd Line) - Azure & Hyper-V

The company

Our client is an established Managed Service Provider supporting a varied portfolio of business customers. They're growing their technical team and are looking for a 2nd / 3rd Line Engineer with strong Azure and Hyper-V experience.

The role

You'll provide 2nd / 3rd line support to multiple client environments, remotely and on-site. You'll own incidents through to resolution and handle escalations from 1st line. You'll also contribute to infrastructure and cloud migration projects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 2nd / 3rd line support across on-premise, Azure and hybrid environments
• Administer and troubleshoot Hyper-V hosts and virtual machines
• Support Azure infrastructure, including VMs, storage and Entra ID
• Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP
• Support Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online and SharePoint
• Work tickets through an ITSM/PSA platform to SLA
