Job summary

Labman Automation is seeking an experienced Learning & Development Lead to build and drive the learning strategy across the business, starting from the ground up. You’ll balance strategic oversight with hands-on delivery, creating workshops, leadership programmes and professional skills training while coaching managers and building a culture where learning is valued.

Qualifications

• Has experience developing and implementing L&D strategies within a growing organisation.
• Enjoys creating structure and building new processes from the ground up.
• Is a confident facilitator who genuinely enjoys presenting and leading training sessions.
• Can design engaging learning experiences and deliver them with energy and credibility.
• Understands how to balance technical development with leadership and professional skills training.
• Is pragmatic, creative and comfortable working in a collaborative, high growth, non-corporate environment.
• Can influence stakeholders and build strong relationships across a wide range of teams.

Responsibilities

• Combine strategic leadership with practical delivery and identify development needs across teams.
• Create learning pathways and implement an L&D strategy that supports growth.
• Deliver training yourself for around 25% of the time.
• Create engaging workshops, leadership programmes and professional skills training.
• Facilitate sessions with employees at all levels and build a culture where learning is valued and impactful.
