Job summary

G MASS is seeking an experienced KYC Checker to join its compliance function. This second line role focuses on peer review and sign-off of CDD and EDD files, challenging and validating the work of KYC makers.

The successful candidate will independently review files, apply global policy requirements, and drive high-quality outcomes across a high-volume caseload. 2–5+ years in KYC/AML within financial services and investment banking are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years in a dedicated KYC/AML/compliance role within financial services.
• Investment banking background preferred.
• Proven checker experience with peer reviews or sign-offs.
• Strong knowledge of global KYC regulation and firm policies.
• Highly organised with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as checker, performing formal sign off on completed CDD and EDD files.
• Own file reviews, performing quality checks on completed CDD/EDD files.
• Validate KYC files against internal quality standards and regulatory thresholds.
• Manage a high volume of KYC cases and periodic reassessments.
• Liaise with KYC makers to remediate issues and ensure timely closure.
