Job Description:

Health Care Support Worker Position on Muirton Ward.

Muirton is an acute mental health admission assessment ward for elderly patients with dementia-related illnesses. The ward requires a motivated HCSW to maintain high standards. Applicants should demonstrate awareness and be willing to adapt to the changing needs of the Moray Older Adult Psychiatry service.

Previous experience in acute admission or with the elderly is advantageous but not required. Good communication skills and the ability to work flexibly and harmoniously in a multidisciplinary team are essential.

Support and encouragement will be provided to meet mandatory and other essential training requirements.

The position involves rotational work with a flexible 12-hour shift system to ensure continuity and meet service needs.

Applications close at midnight on the indicated date and may close early due to volume.

The hours are full-time, permanent, 37 hours per week.
