Health Care Support Worker Position on Muirton Ward

Muirton is an acute mental health admission assessment ward for an elderly patient group with dementia-type illnesses. The ward requires a keen and motivated HCSW to maintain high standards. Applicants should demonstrate awareness and be willing to adapt to the ever-changing needs of the Moray Older Adult Psychiatry service.

Previous experience working in acute admission or with the elderly is advantageous but not mandatory. Good communication skills and the ability to work flexibly and harmoniously within a multidisciplinary team are essential.

Support and encouragement will be provided to meet mandatory and other essential training requirements for the role.

This is a rotational position working a flexible 12-hour shift system to ensure continuity and meet the service needs.
