Job summary

HPO Technologies is seeking a KTP Associate in Behavioural Science/Digital Health to translate behavioural science into adaptive digital interventions for Defence personnel. The role combines the HPO software platform with Bath's expertise in motivation and health intervention design.

You will contribute to intervention design, user engagement, data analysis, and evaluation, collaborating with software and analytics teams across academic and commercial environments.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Health Psychology, Behavioural Science, Digital Health, Public Health, HCI, or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of motivation, behaviour change, and digital intervention design and theory.
• Experience with user engagement strategies, adaptive interventions, and digital health technologies.
• Experience analysing behavioural, health, or performance-related data using R or Python.
• Ability to communicate across multidisciplinary teams including researchers, software developers and analysts.

Responsibilities

• Translate behavioural science into practical, scalable digital solutions for Defence and other uniformed personnel.
• Contribute to intervention design, user engagement strategies, data analysis, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with HPO's software and analytics teams to integrate insights.
• Lead on meetings and manage workload to align outputs with project expectations.
