Job summary

Silverdale School is seeking a part-time KS5 Coordinator (Thursday & Friday) to lead pastoral support for Year 12 and Year 13 students. The post involves working with KS Leaders, SLT and external agencies to ensure high-quality support and successful transitions from secondary to sixth form.

You will follow school procedures, manage data inputs and analysis, and contribute to pastoral administration while promoting best practices within a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Pastoral care experience is advantageous.
• Experience coordinating with multiple teams is beneficial.
• Ability to follow school procedures and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with KS Leaders, SLT, Inclusion Team, staff and external agencies to provide targeted support for Year 12 & 13 cohorts.
• Input and analyse student data and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Deliver pastoral administrative duties and maintain accurate records.

About this Role

Required to start as soon aspossible, we are looking for a part-time (Thursday & Friday) KS5Coordinator to work within our friendly, fast paced and experienced team, providing an efficient and effective pastoralsupport service with our Year 12 & 13 cohorts. Thesuccessful candidate will play an instrumental role in the transition from secondaryschool into sixth form.

You must be able to follow systems, procedures and processes to thestandards required by the School, Trust and appropriate regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities will includeworking with the Key Stage Leaders, Senior Leadership Team, Inclusion Team,teaching staff and outside agencies to ensure all our students receiverelevant, appropriate and focused support and behave to the high standards expectedin our school. Previous experience of working with young people would be anadvantage.

The post holder will also play akey part in the administrative function of the school, inputting and analysingstudent data, communicating both verbally and in writing with a variety ofstakeholders and undertaking a range of pastoral administrative duties.

This role requires candidates to have GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent). The successful candidate will be expected to provide evidence of their GCSE certificates.
