Job summary

Veritas Education Recruitment is recruiting a talented Maths Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Stockton-on-Tees. This full-time, long-term position covers staff absence and starts ASAP, predominantly teaching Key Stage 4 Maths to support strong GCSE outcomes.

The successful candidate will deliver well-planned Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, track progress, and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment within a supportive Maths department.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
• Proven ability to deliver KS3 and KS4 maths lessons and support GCSE progress.
• Strong classroom management and positive student engagement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Take responsibility for a substantial KS4 teaching timetable.
• Track student progress and implement attainment strategies.
• Collaborate within a supportive Maths department to raise attainment.
