Job summary

Aylesford School invites applications for a Teacher of Child Development to cover maternity leave from January 2027 for two terms. You will teach two Year 11 and one Year 10 KS4 classes in Child Development, alongside KS3 Religious Education and KS3/4 Citizenship/PSHE.

We seek an enthusiastic classroom practitioner who can build positive relationships, create an inclusive learning environment, and bring energy to curriculum delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Child Development at KS4 level.
• Ability to teach across KS3 Religious Education and Citizenship/PSHE.
