We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic teacher to join the KS3 site of a Deaf School. This opportunity will also see the successful candidates teaching some ASDAN to a small group of Year 10 students.
Dedicated to promoting high achievement and learning for life. Students are immersed in a rich language community to thrive socially and in their learning. The school's approach to teaching Deaf children combines British Sign Language (BSL) — the language of the Deaf community — and English — the language of the hearing community. BSL enables all deaf children and adults to communicate easily with each other and is part of their Deaf identity.
As a supply teacher for Term 1, you will work within the Primary site with Year 7 & Year 8 students, teaching various subjects including History, English, and Science. The role also involves running small groups of Year 10 students to assist with their Life Skills.
There is potential for this role to become permanent.

Pay: Dependent on experience
All pay rates quoted will include statutory holiday pay. This role is temporary, with possible options for permanency later.
