Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a KS3 SEN Teacher for a specialist SEN setting in Street, Somerset. You will plan and deliver differentiated KS3 lessons to pupils with Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language Difficulties, MLD and SEMH, collaborating with therapists and learners’ families.

Ideal candidates hold QTS/QTLS and have experience with SEN or a strong interest in specialist education, with excellent classroom management and a patient, adaptable approach.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) required.
• Experience with SEN pupils or strong interest in specialist education.
• Excellent classroom management and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging KS3 lessons for pupils with SEN.
• Differentiate instruction to meet individual learning needs.
• Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviews.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants, therapists and families.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
