Job description

Smile Education are supporting a specialist day school who provide education to children and young people aged 11-19 years, with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) in finding a Maths Supply Teacher for the Summer Term.

Location: Herefordshire
Start Date: As soon as possible
Duration: Short-term or longer-term supply (depending on availability)
Salary: MPS/UPS – depending on experience

About the Role:
The school offers their students a warm and nurturing environment, where they receive the support they need to develop socially and emotionally, and prepare to learn again. This supportive setting are seeking a Teacher to join their team for the summer term, teaching Maths to KS3 and KS4 small groups of around 10 students per class. Schemes of work and planning will be provided, and you will also benefit from the support of teaching assistants within your classroom.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level (or upper KS2)
3. Strong classroom management skills
4. A flexible and professional approach
