Job summary

Dorset Council UK is seeking an enthusiastic Key Stage 3 Co-ordinator of Mathematics to join our high-performing department. You will work with the Director of Mathematics and the wider school team to drive attainment and standards across the department.

The successful candidate will maintain attainment, develop schemes of work and assessment materials for KS3, monitor curriculum effectiveness, and lead and develop support for students while upholding safeguarding policies.

Responsibilities

• To maintain standards of students' attainment and achievement in the curriculum area
• To be responsible for the development of schemes of work and assessment materials across a specific key stage
• To be responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of curriculum and assessment effectiveness in the subject at a specific key stage
• To be responsible for leading, managing and developing the support for students within the curriculum area at a specific key stage.
• To promote and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies.
