Job summary

Empowering Learning are partnering with a welcoming secondary school in Bolton to recruit a QTS Science Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2026. This role runs from September through to Christmas 2026 with potential extension and the chance to become permanent for the right candidate.

You will teach Science to KS3 and KS4, deliver engaging lessons and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Science across KS3 and KS4.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• A genuine passion for Science and inspiring young people.
• The ability to plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to engage and motivate students through effective and practical teaching.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inspiring Science lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.
• Create a positive learning environment where all pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential.
• Plan, deliver and assess high-quality Science lessons and adapt to pupils' needs.
