Aspire People seeks a Qualified Primary Teacher to cover Year 4 and Year 5 in the Birmingham area. The role focuses on delivering the KS2 curriculum, planning engaging lessons and maintaining a positive classroom environment.

Ideal candidates hold QTS, have experience in primary education, and can differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs while upholding safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with primary school experience in KS2.
• Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
• Strong behaviour management and classroom discipline.
• Ability to support pupils across Year 4 and Year 5.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons across Key Stage 2.
• Teach and cover classes across Year 4 and Year 5, ensuring continuity of learning.
• Deliver high-quality teaching in English, Maths and Science within the primary curriculum.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour with clear expectations and routines.
• Assess pupil progress and adapt lessons to meet needs.
• Support pupils with varying abilities and additional challenges.
• Maintain high standards of teaching and pupil engagement.
• Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and staff.
• Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies.
• Ensure pupils stay on track with learning objectives during short/long-term cover.
