Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is recruiting a Primary Teaching Assistant to work in a Good-rated school in County Durham (DH2). The position is full-time and temporary, running from September 2026 to December 2026.

You will support Upper KS2 pupils by delivering intervention sessions in maths and English, including pupils with SEND, within a collaborative school team. The role offers excellent PAYE daily rates, a guaranteed pay scheme (subject to availability), pension contributions, CPD

Qualifications

• Experience of working with primary school aged children.
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
• A passion for the progress of primary school pupils.
• An ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver intervention sessions in maths and English.
• Work in Upper KS2 to support core subjects.
• Support pupils with varying attainment and SEND needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to track progress.
