Job summary

The Education Network is recruiting a teaching assistant for one of our partner schools in Stanley. The role is across KS2 and involves supporting teaching and promoting positive behaviour to impact learning.

The successful candidate will hold a recognised Teaching Assistant Level 2 or 3 qualification and have recent school experience. Experience with SEND is desirable but not essential, with opportunities for CPD and ongoing placements across local schools.

Qualifications

• Recognised Teaching Assistant or Nursery Nurse Level 2 or 3 qualification.
• Recent school experience required.

Responsibilities

• Promote good behaviour and positive values to support teaching and learning.
• Support pupils in KS2 in line with the teacher's planned activities.
• Assist with pupils as needed, including those with SEND (if applicable).
