At Brook Primary School, we are proud to be a warm, welcoming and successful school with a strong commitment to ensuring that every child is safe, happy and achieves their very best.

We are seeking an outstanding Year 3 teacher to join our dedicated team on a maternity cover contract starting on the 23rd November.

We are looking for a teacher who embraces these values and is committed to providing engaging learning experiences that inspire children to be curious, ambitious and proud of their achievements.

Most importantly, we are looking for a team player who wants to make a real impact on the lives of our wonderful pupils. Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. The successful candidate will share our unwavering commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children. We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an excellent classroom practitioner with a passion for inspiring children to learn.
  • Has high expectations of achievement, behaviour and personal development.
  • Is committed to ensuring all children make strong academic progress.

  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.

We can offer:

  • Wonderful, enthusiastic pupils who are eager to learn.
  • A friendly, supportive and highly collaborative staff team.
  • A caring and inclusive school community.
  • Strong leadership and a commitment to staff wellbeing.
  • Opportunities to develop professionally and make a real impact.
  • A school where our values of Respect, Resilience, Pride, Challenge and Independence are lived every day.

At Brook Primary School, we believe that every child deserves the best possible education and experiences. If you share our passion for nurturing confident, successful learners and would like to join our school family, we would love to hear from you.

This is to determine suitability to work with children and keep them safe. All shortlisted candidates are now subject to an on-line check and if there is anything concerning, then the shortlisted candidate will be asked to comment on it either prior to or at interview.

N.B., We reserve the right to close this vacancy prior to the advertised date should we receive a large number of applications.
