Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a KS2 teacher for a full-time position in Haywards Heath, starting January 2027 through July 2027. You will deliver KS2 lessons, plan, prepare, mark and assess, while tracking pupil progress and attending school events.

The role offers paid to scale in line with MPS/UPS, with dedicated consultant support and exposure to a well-regarded local primary school.

Qualifications

• QTS in the UK.
• Recent KS2 teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
• DBS via Update Service or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Full class teaching responsibilities including planning, preparation, marking and assessment.
• Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate records.
• Attend staff meetings, parents' evenings and school events as required.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
