Job description

Are You Looking for a Teaching Role That Will Make You Fall Back in Love with Teaching?

Are you tired of spending countless hours on out-of-school marking and administrative tasks? Do you miss the joy and passion that brought you into teaching in the first place?

With Academics, we can help you rediscover your love for teaching! Our flexible opportunities allow you to focus on what you do best – teaching and inspiring students.

About the Role:

We are looking for a KS2 teacher to work with any year group from Year 3 to Year 6. Whether you prefer full-time, part-time, or day-to-day positions, we have opportunities that fit your schedule. Our schools are located in Wolverhampton, so you will need to be able to commute to these areas. We also offer advanced bookings for those who prefer not to be called in the mornings. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Assessing and monitoring students’ progress, providing constructive feedback.
  2. Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  3. Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and the school community to support student development.
Why Choose Supply Teaching?
  1. Flexibility: Supply teaching allows you to choose when and where you work, providing the freedom to balance your professional and personal life.
  2. Variety: Experience different schools, environments, and teaching styles, enhancing your skills and keeping your career exciting.
  3. Work-Life Balance: With supply teaching, you can avoid the long-term commitments and extensive administrative tasks often associated with permanent positions.
  4. Professional Growth: Gain diverse experience that can enrich your teaching portfolio and open doors to new opportunities.
Permanent vs. Supply Teaching:
  1. Permanent Position: As a permanent KS2 Teacher, you will have a stable role within a specific school, building long-term relationships with students and staff, and contributing to the school’s continuous improvement.
  2. Supply Position: As a supply teacher, you have the flexibility to work across various schools, choosing assignments that fit your schedule. This role is perfect for those who value variety and autonomy in their career.
Requirements:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  2. Proven experience in teaching KS2 students.
  3. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  4. A passion for education and student development.
