These roles are for supply cover, providing opportunities to work in different schools in the local area. With the support of your dedicated specialist consultant, you can inform us of your availability, and we will arrange work accordingly. Due to high demand, we guarantee work on the days you are available, or you will be paid for that day. You can work from 1 to 5 days a week exclusively with Hays. Additionally, Hays offers opportunities to build relationships with partner schools, which may lead to long-term or permanent roles.

Your new role

This role can be full-time or part-time, allowing flexibility to fit around your schedule. It is ideal for those passionate about teaching across multiple primary schools. Schools seek candidates with strong, adaptable classroom skills, as you will cover classes for the day, whether due to teacher absence or training. The role is open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs). While part-time work is available based on your availability, the successful candidate will have routine classroom responsibilities and collaborate with other teachers in the year group. Although there are no PPA responsibilities, you will be required to mark work set for the day. If you enjoy working in different primary schools and year groups at times that suit you, this role is suitable for you.
