Job description

We are seeking a committed and inspiring KS2 Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive school for the full 2025–2026 academic year.

Duties as KS2 Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 National Curriculum.

  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND, EAL or additional support needs.

  • Track and assess pupil progress, using formative and summative assessment to inform teaching.

  • Maintain a positive, well-managed and stimulating classroom environment.

  • Encourage pupils to develop independence, resilience and a love of learning.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan, moderate and contribute to school initiatives.

  • Establish strong, respectful relationships with pupils, parents and carers.

  • Participate fully in school life, including assemblies, school trips, enrichment activities and events.

  • Support the safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils in line with school policy.

Ideal KS2 Teacher:

  • Be a passionate and reflective practitioner with a commitment to high standards.

  • Have experience teaching in KS2, with a sound knowledge of curriculum expectations.

  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills as a KS2 Teacher.

  • Be a strong team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
